THE ASSESSMENT
Once you have read, evaluated your novel for it’s literary elements, and analyzed the writer’s style, you will share your findings with the class during a book talk in one of two ways:
Each literary response will describe the plot, the character arc, the author’s use of figurative language, themes, and conclude with your opinion of the book. Each literary response will be graded on it’s own rubric and will have a specific set of parameters to meet.
- Write a 500 word book review
- Create a new book jacket of your novel
